The Tyremil process produces SYN Gas from end-of-life tyres. 5% of a tyre turns to SYN Gas. SYN
Gas has its own commodity value, however, the Tyremil process utilises the gas in a completely different way.
The SYN Gas is sequestered during the process and fed back to the plant and combusted to provide power. The Tyremil plant is completely self-generating. Approximately 54% of the gas produced from recycled tyres is needed to successfully power the Tyremil tyre recycling plant.
